This guide includes the following sections:
How do I access my profile?
When you register your account with us, following the on-screen prompts will lead you to create your profile on our platform.
However, if you've registered differently or wish to amend your profile details, you can do so at any point after you've signed in.
To visit your profile, select your profile icon in the top right corner of the main navigation bar. The icon will consist of your initials or a picture, if you've already added one:
What does my profile include?
Your profile includes a main dashboard with your name, icon, points collected, and labs completed, as well as the following tabs:
- Progress
- Settings
- Reports
- Streaks
You can find information on what is included in each tab below.
Progress
A visual representation of your progress against any labs assigned to you by your manager, as well as your progress in our labs, grouped by our content categories (e.g., cybersecurity fundamentals, offensive cyber, defensive cyber, malware and reverse engineering).
For further details into how this is broken down and calculated, visit our My Progress: FAQs page.
Settings
From the Settings area you can add an avatar (image or icon), select your username (which may be visible to others in the leaderboard), first and last name, time zone, as well as your account's visibility settings.
If Let Other People See my Details is not selected, your profile will not appear in leaderboards. Make sure this setting is selected if you want to get competitive!
Reports
The reports area allows you to download reports that display your activity, including continuing professional development/ education (CPD/ CPE) credits you have earned, during a timeframe of your choosing.
What are CPD/CPE credits?
CPD/ CPE credits are necessary for a range of professional qualifications. They illustrate that someone has maintained their competence in a particular field.
Immersive aligns skills to specific threats with continually updated content, making it an ideal source of CPE credits. The estimated time it takes to complete a lab, counts towards your total credits. You'll earn one credit for every hour of estimated time on completed labs.
Who accepts Immersive CPD/CPE credits?
Check with your specific qualification provider to see if it accepts CPD/CPE credits generated by lab
activity on Immersive. There may be restrictions around the categories of content of which you are allowed to claim.
For further details on the types of reports available, see: Where can I find my lab Progress and Completion Data?
Streaks
Streaks is a feature that tracks the number of labs completed per week, allowing you to set a targeted goal for yourself to hit and celebrate when this is reached.
