What are interludes, and what are they used for? | Interludes are meant to stimulate discussion and make participants think, along with adding more context/info without the need to make a decision. Interludes are just for text and require no votes |
I can’t see/run a scenario I just created. | You need to ‘Publish’ your draft scenario, which should then appear in the scenario catalog. Choose that scenario and select the type of exercise you wish to use to run your new scenario. |
Where can I find answers to justification questions? | Go to the ‘Results’ page in your completed scenario/exercise. |
How can I test a scenario? |
You can preview a scenario in ‘Test’ mode without using a credit. NOTE: Reporting is disabled in this preview/test mode. |
Why does my After Action Report (AAR) look empty? | This can be due to multiple factors - for a full After Action Report, scenarios must be run with Ranking and Confidence enabled. |
I can’t see any scenarios | Users must have Crisis Sim Admin or Manager access rights to see the catalog otherwise they will only see content assigned to them. |
How can I see/read responses from specific participants? |
When setting up the scenario, you must select “Show Participant Name”. This asks users to enter their names when connected to the exercise. |
Where can I collect lessons learned/feedback from our participants? |
You can enable justification questions and prompt the user for feedback/next steps at the last inject. |
Are there any suggestions when customizing a scenario? |
When writing different injects that cover the same topic/inject title, adding differentiators such as “ransomware 1/2/3” will help better understand the logic flow of your scenario. |
In Crisis Simulation Presentation Mode I receive the following error: Participant can’t Join a crisis sim exercise, and the Websocket connection status is red |
This is typically due to Websockets failing. A quick workaround can be to try connecting with mobile data or an alternative network. To fix the root cause of the problem, work with your IT team to ensure that your browsers and networks meet our system requirements, especially around Websockets. Please refer to the WebSockets Diagnostics article in this guide for additional information and details. |
In Crisis Simulation Presentation Mode the participant counter / votes aren’t updating. |
Please refer to the previous response on Websocket diagnostics. |
