Understanding results
Overview results
You’ll be displayed with an overview of the exercise’s results. This includes:
- The duration of the exercise (top right corner)
- Exercise summary
- The score and how it compares to the average score for the given scenario
- The completion rate
If the exercise was assigned to your entire organization, or to different teams, you’ll also find team comparison data in the overview area.
- The top 5 teams with the highest score
- The top 5 teams with the lowest score
- The top 5 teams with the highest completion
- The top 5 teams with the lowest completion
If the exercise was assigned to individuals, the above information on teams won’t be available. In any case, you’ll find a searchable list of participants assigned to the exercise. Information available includes individual users':
- completion status
- score
- specific results (selection of options per part)
Results per Part
Under the Overview section, you’ll find a list of the exercise’s parts: these were the moments in the exercise participants needed to make decisions in.
You’ll find part-specific results by selecting each part on the left: this allows you to understand what areas participants struggled with, as well as where they were strong. You’ll also be able to visualise their confidence-levels per part.
Understanding the exercise report
Selecting the view exercise report button on the overview page will take you to the exercise’s capability by area report, where you’ll find actionable insights.
Data points available on this report include:
- Completion rate
The percentage of participants that completed the exercise, out of those assigned.
- Decision score
The average decision score of participants who completed the exercise.
The decision score metric is based on the scoring of different decisions per part. These are scored as:
-
- Weak: 25%
- Okay: 50%
- Good: 75%
- Great:100%
- Confidence score
The average confidence score for participants who completed the exercise. This is based on the confidence measure per part (decision point). These are scored as:
-
- Not at all confident: 0%
- Not very confident: 25%
- Somewhat confident: 50%
- Confident: 75%
- Very confident: 100%
- Risk areas exercised and scores against each
Our Workforce scenarios have been designed to test a number of risk areas as participants progress through the exercise. The areas listed here will depend on which risk areas the workforce exercises assigned tested.
The overall score displayed includes an adjusted element to account for participant confidence levels. For example, selecting a weak option with a higher level of confidence is a higher-risk decision than selecting a weak option with a low level of confidence.
- Low risk teams and higher risk teams
A list of your low risk teams (overall score equal to or higher than 50%) and higher risk teams (overall score lower than 50%). This is based on which teams individual participants are assigned to on the platform.
- Average score v. average confidence relating to teams and risk areas
-
- Capability by team: the average score against average confidence by team, enabling you to visualize risk at-a-glance
- Capability by risk area: the average score against average confidence by risk area, enabling you to visualize high-risk areas at-a-glance
- Next steps - this area includes related lab collections that can be assigned to upskill participants in particular risk areas.
