You'll find your group's ranking on the live performance data page, whilst participating in the exercise, as well as on the After Action Report, available after the exercise has ended.
Note: individual participants can only view how their own group has ranked. Team Sim Managers on the other hand, can view the ranking for all groups that participated in the exercise.
How is the position and ranking of groups determined?
The group's position is based on:
1. The number of completed tasks
Groups ranked first are those with the highest number of tasks completed.
2. The time taken to complete the tasks
Groups are then ranked according to the total active time taken to complete the tasks.
The time recorded in the completed tasks column is the time taken, up until the last task was submitted (or up until the exercise met the deadline)
Ranking table columns explained
- Position
Your group's position against other groups (if any), participating in the exercise. It is determined by looking firstly at the number of tasks copleted, and secondly at the active time in which those tasks were completed.
- Group
The group name.
- Completed tasks
The number of tasks completed by participants, and the amount of time it took to submit the last task. This is what the position ranking is based on.
- Active time
All time spent in the exercise by the team, including after submitting the last task, up until the point the exercise ends, or participants exit the exercise.
The distinction between time in completed tasks and active time is particularly useful in cases where not all tasks were submitted, as it could be an indication of how long the team spent on tasks they were unable to complete.
- Active group members
The number of group members that joined the exercise.
- Accuracy
A percentage score based on the number of correct tasks submitted.
